Vice Principal Strategy, Student Services and Special Projects

The Role

This is a tremendous opportunity within the Executive Team of one of the highest performing and effective colleges in the country. B&FC is a specialist in technical and professional education, responding to national, regional and local labour market demands. The College is about to relaunch its five year strategy, and this role will have a central part to play in shaping the future development of the organisation and overseeing some extremely important functions.

We are looking for someone who has high ambition, a passion for technical learning, and senior leadership experience in a good college or similar organisation. We want someone who cares about the details, making sure that student experiences are excellent, and the College is strongly aligned with customer needs. But we also want a creative problem solver, who genuinely cares about the impact the College has on students, employers and the community, and wants to help us make Blackpool and the Fylde coast a better place to live, work and grow business.

W hile previous experience and certain skills may be advantageous, we recognise that talent comes in many forms. Therefore, we encourage candidates who may not meet all of the essential criteria and for whom this would be a development opportunity to apply. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we believe in providing opportunities for all individuals to develop and thrive."

The interview dates for this role are scheduled for Monday 13 May and Tuesday 14 May 2024.
