The School and Role

This large and friendly Secondary Academy based in Aintree, Liverpool are looking to appoint a strong Music Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team. This is a full-time role, starting after Easter 2024 and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate must be comfortable teaching students Music up to KS4 and be fully versed in the current curriculum. This voluntary aided school gained specialist Sports College status in 2000, and is administered by Liverpool City Council and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool. The school was marked as 'Good' in all areas following their latest Ofsted inspection.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

- Hold QTS in the UK

- Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

- Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
