Salary: £100 to £250 per day, dependent upon experience.

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher who is passionate about education to work within a brilliant primary school in the Ormskirk area in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for KS2 SATS, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Prepare students for KS2 SATS exams, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Previous experience preparing students for KS2 SATS exams is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
