We are recruiting a full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in L15 to start ASAP until July 2024

This is a temp to perm opportunity.

Milk Education are working with a primary school in the L15 area of Liverpool who are looking to recruit a EYFS Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting children with their learning and development in a EYFS class. You will also be expected to work with small groups of children for additional support with any subjects.

The school will give full training.

Your role & responsibilities of EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students

Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration, and self-esteem of pupils

Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe environment and engaging lesson

Non-negotiables:

Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience within the last two years supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles

Please note, candidates without a qualification but with extensive experience (paid or voluntary) with children or a relevant setting are also welcome to apply!

  • Previously support children in schools or SEN setting or similar.
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
  • Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
