We are currently seeking an Estates & Facilities Security Assistant to join The Bedford College Group at our Wellingborough Campus.

As an Estates & Facilities Security Assistant you play an important role in the success of our students through:

• Responding and assisting with different types of emergencies; first aid, fire alarms, bomb alerts, floods, gas leaks.
• Responding to reports of intruders on site and other crime related incidents. To protect the college property against loss, theft and damage.
• Undertaking first aid training and be a college first aider.
• Being familiar with college requirements in relation to student conduct and expected behaviour on site.

Ideal candidates will have minimum of 1 year's work experience in security and willing to obtain a basic level of health and safety knowledge, alongside the following qualifications:

• SIA training & licence
• Literacy and communication skills and have excellent verbal and written English
