The Academy of Advanced Technology is committed to providing a broad and balanced, knowledge-based curriculum whilst encouraging students to seek out and nurture their natural gifts. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic A - Level Science tutor who has sound knowledge of both the Biology and Chemistry curriculum. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in growing and developing this new provision at South Essex Colleges Group. In line with the role requirements for this role, the successful candidate is to hold a recognised teaching qualification. This may be a CertEd, DTLLS or DET, or PGCE. If you do not hold a recognised teaching qualification, candidates will be expected to enrol on a teaching course after passing probation. This is a contractual requirement of the role. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching the A-level curriculum. They will have sound knowledge of working with a number of awarding bodies and be competent of teaching and preparing learners for the A-Level exams.
