We are looking for an Events and Promotions Co-ordinator to support our Creative and Performing Arts department.

The Creative and Performing Arts department is one of the college’s Centres of Excellence and is a very ambitious, outward facing department that encompasses Art and Design, Fashion, Drama, Dance, Media, Photography, Music, Games Design and Graphic Design. Throughout the year we are involved in a number of high profile, public facing events and this new role has been created to support in the organisation, delivery and promotion of these events.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the curriculum team and Head of Department in ensuring the smooth and professional delivery of the aforementioned events. In addition to this they will also play a central role in ensuring that the department’s many smaller events, guest speakers and trips are organised and promoted on the college’s social media channels.

Applicants must be highly organised and have an innovative, creative mindset in order to ensure that the department’s various events are delivered to the highest level of professionalism. The ability to work equally well with both students and staff in a fast paced, creative environment is essential.

Experience and evidence of similar previous event organisation and management will be sought at interview.
