37 hours per week for 38 weeks per year (term-time) – Annual salary within the range of £18,176.17 to £18,798.76 per annum
25 hours per week for 38 weeks per year (term-time) – Annual salary within the range of £12,281.20 to £12,701.87 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity to work within our Estates & Facilities team supporting young people in an education environment and ensuring their safety and welfare is a priority, as either a Daytime or Evening Ranger.
You will support when required to operate the daily mini bus shuttle service between College campuses ensuring passengers are safe and the service runs to time and schedule.
You will have empathy for young people and the personal presence and the ability to challenge inappropriate behaviour and manage difficult situations. Excellent communication and administrative skills are also essential.
It is desirable you hold a qualification in youth work, or the willingness to work towards one, accompanied by Level 2 or equivalent in maths and English alongside a first aid qualification or willingness to undertake training within 6 months.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich Campus. However, Suffolk New College is a multi campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
