This full-time, long-term position for a SEND Year 4 TA Teaching Assistant will commence in September 2024, with potential extension into the next academic year. The daily rate ranges from £83 to £90, depending on experience.

About you: As a successful Teaching Assistant, you will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-achieving class. You will collaborate with the class teacher to support the academic progress of children with additional needs, both in group settings and one-to-one.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and creating a positive learning environment.
• Providing individualised support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum.
• Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials and organising resources for lessons.
• Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect.
• Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices.

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent references showcasing previous SEND experience in KS1/KS2.
• Full employment history.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
