£28.27 per sessional hour (£20.55 + £6.05 holiday pay)

to

£36.25 per sessional hour (£26.35 + £7.75 holiday pay) Depending on Experience

Are you passionate about your subject area? Do you have experience teaching GCSE and functional skills English to post-16 learners? If so, we would be very interested in hearing from you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic English lecturer to deliver innovative and inclusive teaching to post-16 learners. You will have the ability to inspire and motivate your students enhancing your lessons using a variety of approaches including technology. Your role will be to progress, support and develop every student through outstanding teaching and learning to achieve a successful outcome in their English studies.

Job requirements:
  • Experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English within the post-16 sector
  • Hold a teaching qualification (Level 4)
  • Have a minimum level 3 English qualification
  • Ability to deliver the curriculum creatively with strong independent organisational skills
