We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Lecturer in L3 and L2 Creative Media. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts very high levels of learner success and achievement. The successful candidate may be required to teach across a range of programmes at levels 2 and 3.

As a Lecturer you will be responsible for delivery of the L3 and L2 Creative Media Practice courses, with the potential for delivery on Photography L3 within the School of Creative and Performing Arts.

The successful candidate must:

Hold at least a degree level qualification in a relevant subject
Hold a relevant teaching qualification (or willing to achieve within a set time-period from appointment)
GCSE (A*-C) English & Maths
Have current up to date knowledge and relevant industrial experience
Have experience of teaching Adobe Creative Cloud, and other related software, as relevant to the course.
Have experience teaching in Further and/or Higher Education – Young people (16-18), Adults or Higher Education students as appropriate
Have experience delivering Pearson BTEC specifications
Have experience of being a programme leader - desirable
Have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and targets
Flexible approach to working hours and ability to work as part of a team
