Gloucestershire College has received national recognition for its innovative apprenticeship programmes, winning the Association of Colleges (AoC) Beacon Award for the Promotion and Delivery of Successful Apprenticeships in 2016.
Following our success, we are recruiting an experienced Engineering Assessor to join our growing Business Hub based at Gloucestershire College.
The GC Apprenticeships Programme has continued to grow both in terms of numbers and programmes, with more progression pathways and new standards to meet the local skills needs of our employers.
The primary role of the assessor is to assess learners’ performance and/or related knowledge in a range of tasks and to ensure that the competence and/or knowledge demonstrated meets the requirements of the apprenticeship frameworks or standards.
You will be expected to implement and administer all assessment and internal verification procedures. You will support, train and guide learners and develop their skills and abilities with regards to assessment and verification.
You will work across a range of Level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications to deliver flexible, high quality training/assessments in the work based training area.
