Lecturer – Early Years & Health and Social Care
The Department of Early Years, Health & Social Care is undergoing some exciting developments which will see an expansion of the programmes we offer.
You will be at the heart of this so if you are a forward thinking and innovative teacher join us.
We cater for learners 14 to 16 years, 16 to 18 and adults. You will need to deliver quality teaching, learning and assessment from E3 to Level 3 on Early Years and Health and Social Care programmes including Access to Nursing.
You will have recognised industry experience and be able to demonstrate current knowledge and working practices in the sector. You should hold an appropriate Teaching qualification (CERT ED / PGCE) along with a qualification within an Early Years and Health and Social Care related discipline.
You will be flexible, self-motivated and be able to lead by example with a strong desire to enable young people and adults to achieve their full potential, taking on Course Team Leader responsibilities.
We are particularly interested in candidates that are able to teach across Early Years and Health and Social Care programmes and hold a QCF Assessor qualification, A1 Award or related qualification and are able to assess learners in the work placement.
