Abingdon & Witney College is officially Oxfordshire’s most successful college

Abingdon and Whitney College

We have been graded “good” with “outstanding” apprenticeships by Ofsted (March 2017), received a Silver Award from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), and have been recognised at a national level for the quality of our courses and teaching on numerous occasions.

We are ambitious for our students, working with them to achieve excellence. But that excellence is not a one-size-fits-all solution. We offer a broad range of courses and celebrate the success of students at all levels across the college. With such a wide range of options, there is something that is right for everyone.

We also know employers are increasingly looking to colleges to help solve skills shortages, which is why our courses are developed to meet the needs of local businesses and the future workplace. Our teaching staff have outstanding experience in their chosen sector and keep their skills industry-sharp through their programme of professional development which includes time spent in the industry each year.
