With two distinct education bodies, South Tyneside College is home to the Professional and Vocational College and the world famous South Shields Marine School.

The College has embarked upon a period of significant change through investment and development, striving to become a leader in professional and vocational education.  OFSTED have recognised a “clear mission to drive forward standards” with an overall rating of ‘Good’ in 2012.
