The AoC Further Education HR Online Conference will take place over two days and will focus on future-proofing – how to build and sustain a robust and innovative HR strategy to take us in to a continuously evolving future.

College’s have embraced the rapid pace of change thrust upon us by the Covid-19 and now, more than ever, the FE HR community needs to develop the policies, practices and foresight to create sustainable and resilient organisations and workforces.

Our aim is that this event will enhance and develop your skills, and that of your teams, to be able to better face these future challenges.

What speakers will you see at the event?

  • Peter Cheese, Chief Executive at CIPD will share his insights on the future of HR and his visions of the future world of work
  • Helen Dyke, Irwin Mitchell and Sheena Murphy-Collett, Director of HR and Organisational Development, Petroc College will share their thoughts on future-proofing HR
  • Mark Malcomson CBE, Principal, City Lit will discuss leading in uncertain times and offer his advice on supporting staff through substantial change.
  • Lisa Tomlinson, Fircroft College will share insights on how to increase diversity at the top
  • Dr Joanna Burrell, Managing Director, Ultimate Resilience will offer her top tips for HR leaders and managers on how to stay resilient in tough times.
  • Paul McKean, Head of FE and Skills, Jisc will lead a session on digitalising HR
  • Ann Wall, Director of People and Wellbeing, East Coast College will share the lessons their college has learnt around mental health and well being during the pandemic
