This session is the first in a series of seven Governance finance masterclasses, designed to give college governors a solid understanding of the complex nature of college finances, support on the questions they should be asking in their board meetings and the tools to understand how and when to raise concerns and offer input.
These sessions have been created and will be led by Andrew Tyley, a leading expert in further education funding and a Deputy Further Education Commissioner.
First session is £50 off with a £10 discount per session for anyone attending two or more sessions.
All sessions will take place from 4.30-6pm, online
The sessions will include interactive presentations, small discussion groups and Q&A.
More about Andrew
Andrew Tyley was appointed Deputy Further Education Commissioner in September 2016.
He is a CIPFA qualified accountant with lots of experience in the FE sector and a particular specialism in college finance. He has also worked on a range of high profile college recovery plans prior to taking up his post.
