This session is the fifth in a series of seven governance finance masterclasses, designed to give college governors a solid understanding of the complex nature of college finances. This session will summarise the key sources of funding and discuss their complex nature, look at risk factors and audits, will explore the top line priorities for monitoring and the relationship between funding, quality and finance.
These sessions have been created and will be led by Andrew Tyley, a leading expert in further education funding and a Deputy Further Education Commissioner.
First session is £50 off with a £10 discount per session for anyone attending two or more sessions.

Andrew Tyley was appointed Deputy Further Education Commissioner in September 2016.
He is a CIPFA qualified accountant with lots of experience in the FE sector and a particular specialism in college finance. He has also worked on a range of high profile college recovery plans prior to taking up his post.
