This is enhanced by a strong, committed Board and talented, collaborative staff who prioritise an excellent student experience at the heart of everything we do. We benefit from a Good ESFA financial health rating.

Due to our current Principal and CEO retiring at the end of the year, we are seeking a new leader who will ensure we reach our full potential and lead us in our ambition to achieve Outstanding. Our new Principal and CEO will lead on delivering, embedding and achieving our strategic plan which will prioritise a careers led curriculum to meet future skill needs with high quality technical and professional provision, while delivering an agile, financially sound and environmentally sustainable organisation. Inspiring staff and leading a culture of high performance and empowerment are also of key importance, as is cultivating a high profile externally for the college. Ensuring that the college continues to be recognised as a responsive, innovative, highly valued education and skills partner in Dorset and beyond is paramount.

Our ideal candidate will be a visible, inspirational senior leader, with proven expertise in moving an organisation forward strategically and operationally.  We are seeking a forward-looking individual, who will harness talent across the college to ensure the best outcomes and prioritise continuous quality improvement.
