Hours:           28 hours per week (0.8 FTE)

Salary:           £23,076 - £32,876 per annum based on the full time equivalent £28,846 - £41,095 per annum


About the role:

You will be responsible for teaching on the Counselling programs which range from Introduction Level 2 to the BA in Counselling. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and developing the counselling skills of the learners helping them to prepare for working in the sector. Other general curriculum responsibilities will include assessment, tracking student achievement, interviewing future learners and some administration for the courses.


This role will be starting 15th August 2021


About you:

The Candidate should hold a Degree in the relevant subject and be/or working towards being an accredited member of BACP or UKCP. Appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in Counselling education and in the sector are essential for this position. It is desirable that the candidate has skills to conduct supervision sessions and the necessary qualifications; you will have a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract.
