We have a great opportunity to join the Marketing & External Relations Team as Head of Public Relations and Public Affairs on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.

As a key member of the Group Marketing and communications team, you will develop and deliver the LTE Group Public Relations (PR) & Public Affairs strategy, with a focus on:

Shaping and executing effective and measurable PR strategies and plans that promote key initiatives and enhance the Group's image and reputation.

Assessing the potential effects of changes in our external operating environment (political/economic/commercial/sector specific) and working with senior stakeholders to form appropriate responses

Shaping and owning the public LTE 'voice and opinion' on all matters relating to PR and Public Affairs. This extends to proactively cultivating our relationships with media and key stakeholders at a local, regional and national level, influencing public policy and boosting our brand profile

To do this successfully you'll need:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Broad job-related experience required

Detailed experience of Public relations, public affairs, influencing and stakeholder management

Experience of communicating with senior internal and multiple external stakeholder groups

Ability to edit or produce editorial and other written material for a broad range of audiences - including policy papers, briefing papers, press releases, press statements and summarising complex detail into key messages

Extensive experience of engaging with media and journalists on complex matters
