An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Engagement Assistant

Salary: £18,180 FTE (Actual Earning £14,976.75)

 

Job Title:              Student Engagement Assistant

Hours:                  37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Contract:             Permanent

The Student Engagement Assistant is responsible to the Student Engagement Co-ordinator for providing high quality support to students in order to enable the College to meet the above broad objectives. Team working and communications within an overall approach that values people will be of key importance

 

Some of the main responsibilities include –

  • Develop, organise, and support the effective delivery of Student Voice activities and student feedback within the College to include publicising the College responses to student feedback (“You Said We Did”)
  • To work closely with the Students’ Union and departments across College to ensure there are a range of initiatives for engaging with different student groups throughout the academic year.
  • To recruit, train, and provide support to Course Reps.
  • To plan, organise, and facilitate cross College enrichment activities( including student led activities) and act as a first point of contact for external agencies delivering enrichment

 

The role requires an individual who has well developed organisational, communication and team working skills. They must also be able to meet targets and deadlines. The role is for 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year based at out Cosham Campus.
