We now have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Library Officer on a fixed term (12 months), part time (28 hours per week) term time only basis.
The Manchester College is based at many sites across the city, each with its own specialist cutting edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. As a Library Officer you will work as part of a team to deliver a quality library and information service which supports and facilitates learning and achievement. Support, develop and promote the library service to all college users. You will provide reference, lending and information services to users of the library including dealing with internal and external enquiries by phone or online. You will control the circulation of books and other resources; shelving returned materials, and operation of security system.
To do this successfully you`ll need:
Level 2 English & Maths
Level 2 Certificate in Libraries, Archives and Information Services or administration/customer services / lT or equivalent experience

FTE salary: £18,506.88 - £20,033.78 (subject to job evaluation), Pro-Rata salary: £12,173.76 - £13,178.15 (subject to job evaluation).
