An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Administrator  

£12,448.66 (FTE 17,437.00)

 

Job Title:              HR Administrator

Hours:                  26.5 hours per week

Contract:             Permanent

The HR Administrator is responsible to the Director of Human Resources for providing high quality administrative support.

 

The role requires an individual who has well developed organisational, communication and team working skills. They must also be able to meet targets and deadlines. The role is for 26.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year based at out Cosham Campus

 

Some of the duties will include-

  • The administration of appraisals and midyear reviews, monitoring and reporting on returns
  • Ensuring staff CVS are updated annually
  • Supporting initiatives, including staff awards and staff questionnaires
  • Recording and monitoring staff development
  • Processing leavers and collating exit documentation
  • Checking HR email inboxes and passing messages/information to the appropriate member of the team
  • Administering contract changes as identified through College procedures, including sending out revised contracts and variations to contracts
  • Amending and updating the Single Central Record in respect of changed posts and changed individual circumstances
  • Dealing with administrative tasks in relation to family friendly processes (including maternity, paternity, and adoption) and other family leave and special leave requests
  • Ensuring that sickness absence in recorded in accordance with sickness absence policies, procedures and processes relating to absence
  • Working across the team to pick up other equivalent work, and particularly supporting recruitment, at times where there is a significant workload or team absences

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complete their Level 3 CIPD
