Croydon College group has a bright future. Having merged with Coulsdon Sixth Form College, we are now two great Colleges working together to transform our communities’ economic, social and employment prospects.

The college is one of the most successful providers of Further and Higher Education in the South East, judged Good in all areas by Ofsted at our last inspection, we’re on a journey to Great.  At our Croydon Campus we offer a wide range of academic and vocational pathways from entry level to level six to meet needs of our community and local economy. At Coulsdon Sixth Form Campus we focus on a curriculum which enables young people to progress to Higher Education or Apprenticeships.  Our University Centre Croydon works in partnership with the University of Roehampton and provides Higher Education pathways directly linked to the local economy.  Across our organisation we put students at the heart of all we do; reflected in our focus on good or better lessons, caring student support, extensive student engagement and investing in the expertise of our staff.

Our Vice Principal Education and Quality is critical in our journey from good to great. A member of the executive team, the new post holder will drive consistently high-quality provision across the college group though a performance framework to support our aspirations to be great. You will also lead on Croydon Campus’s curriculum strategy for young people, ensuring that it meets the needs of our community and maximises our students’ potential. Key to the role will be providing inspirational leadership which encourages innovation and continually develops and improves teaching and learning practice.

Our successful candidate will bring a strong track record in the leadership and management of teaching and learning, curriculum development and quality assurance within further education. Forward-looking and student focused, you will demonstrate experience of consistently driving up academic standards and delivering excellent student outcomes, while communicating the college’s vision, creating high performing teams and inspiring innovation.
