An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced lecturer to join our Maths team.

City College Plymouth is one of only 21 Maths Centres for Excellence nationally and has a commitment to improving the maths skills of our local community. We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives and careers of our learners.

You will join a vibrant and high performing team, teaching across a range of vocational areas including study programme and apprentice learners as well as to our adult cohort.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with young people and will be keen to encourage our students to aspire to achieve their goals. The candidate will possess good knowledge of GCSE and Functional Skills maths and experience of English Functional Skills would be a bonus. In addition, candidates must display essential team working skills; demonstrating how you share good practice, work collaboratively with colleagues, and achieve team targets, are all qualities that we will be looking for in the successful candidate.

Ideally, candidates will have both experiences of teaching and of working in industry.
