We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Group Head of HR to join our HR Senior Leadership team to support our mission and ensure the delivery of our HR Strategic Plan.
We are a wide and varied people organisation where the post holder will need to be adaptable and intuitive to the changing needs of the business. As a strategic and operational leader, you will provide advisory and operational HR Leadership to a team of HR Business Partners, the HRIS and Reward team, across our Activate Group, to share your vision and drive the delivery of strategic HR solutions, with an unwavering focus on service excellence.
The post holder will be confident in driving a partnership/resolution approach to employee relations and provide expert advice and guidance on employment law and employee relations issues including organisational change projects, TUPE transfers, mergers and restructures.
As a pivotal role within the HR Leadership Team, you will be experienced in executing people related strategies and will have worked in a fast-paced environment. You will drive consistent people data led decision making to encourage accountability and achieve the best outcomes for the organisation, with an awareness of where improvements can be developed and implemented. You will build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a learning and working environment that supports our Learning Philosophy.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
You will be an established senior HR leader with a proven track record of dealing with complex and sensitive employee relations issues. You will have sound experience and knowledge of the legal framework related to HR together with current practical experience of confidently interpreting and applying this positively and pragmatically to a range of situations, across a large multi-sited organisation. You will be an inspiring and authentic leader and will bring excellent influencing and communication skills. You will have a track record in managing change and implementing projects and initiatives to drive forward the HR strategy. Your energy and enthusiasm will foster strong internal stakeholder relationships and you will be confident to actively engage with employees at all levels. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work at pace will allow you to prioritise, manage and delegate multiple streams of activity with varying priorities.
