WHAT WE DO 

We are a fast growing and industry responsive Engineering Department. We are looking for a Deputy Head to support the strategic ambitions and growth; to focus on the Mechanical/Electrical/Academic Engineering curriculum pathways, from level 1 to level 3. You will have the responsibility to lead and manage the team delivering EAL, BTEC, T Level and Access to HE. We require someone who understands the needs of the Engineering Industry and also has the drive and enthusiasm to support the department achieving its goals and aspirations. We are a large, friendly team and pride ourselves on the importance we attach to well being as well as academic achievements.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Oversee KPIs for the Engineering pathway such as achievements, retention, quality, learner experiences.
  • Develop curriculum so that learners are fully equipped for employment in the industry.

 

YOUR PROFILE 

  • Be able to work as part of a team, supportive and focussed.
  • Be able to prioritise objectives and work to a deadline.
  • Have had experience line managing and also looking at the KPIs for a group of learners.
