Lecturer in Law

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Business with our growing law provision for a Lecturer in Law.

We are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Law to teach across our Higher Education and Further Education provision.

You will be required to hold a relevant degree in Law; experience in practising law is desirable. You will be confident in delivering units such as Legal drafting, Criminal law, The English legal system and Human Rights. In addition, you will hold a pastoral role as a Course Tutor.

You must have the ability to manage the progress of learners across all levels and support their pastoral needs, whilst monitoring course specific KPI's. The successful candidate must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible; student-centred and be a strong role model for our students.

A teaching qualification is desirable, although full training to obtain this will be provided. You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.

You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, working in our well-equipped facilities at our Watford and Hemel campuses. This role is a full-time role, working 37 hours a week.

The closing date for applications is midday on Friday 14 May 2021.

The successful candidate will join the School of Business, reporting to Head of School Samantha Takis.
