As one of the country’s largest providers of quality education and training, our team of over 600 talented staff support over 12,000 students each year and each plays a part in making City College Plymouth a nationally recognised learning environment.

The College offers a range of teaching, business support and Apprenticeship opportunities. So if you want to be rewarded well for investing in people’s futures - we want to hear from you.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual with sound knowledge to lead the College Estates Provision.

This role will be at the heart of delivering the College’s ambitious ten year Estates & Asset Strategy, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and collaborating cross-College to deliver exciting new developments and to effectively manage the College’s Estate. In addition, the post holder will line-manage the College’s premises teams and external cleaning and catering service contracts.

The Head of Estates & Infrastructure Development will be responsible for the efficient management of the estate, assets and facilities, both in-house and outsourced, ensuring legislative compliance and the provision of a safe and secure environment for all staff, students and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the arrangements for the efficient management, maintenance and repair of the College’s Estate, Assets & Facilities, ensuring the College fulfils its statutory and other legal obligations relating to its premises, procuring relevant facilities and services as required.

The role will suit someone with experience of strategic and operational estates management who is looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an immediate impact.
