We have an exciting opportunity for talented and motivated staff to join our casual bank of teaching staff. Candidates must be able to deliver excellent and inclusive teaching, learning and assessment in the classroom, so that learners are inspired to succeed and progress.
As an enthusiastic expert in your area, you will integrate appropriate and inspirational curriculum resources including ILT into lessons and plan delivery so that schemes of work and lesson plans support continued high achievement and outstanding progress. You will undertake ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress. You will aim to ensure that learners succeed through progress reviews and initiate and respond to new curriculum developments and plan resources as appropriate.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject, you must have experience of successful teaching (or teaching practice for NTs) and hold a full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills (or be currently working towards).
Please note, this is a casual role which means that specific days and hours cannot be guaranteed. Work will be offered on a casual, ad hoc basis to fit the needs of the service.
Additional pay will be provided for the purposes of marking and preparation time, along with an additional payment for holiday.
