About the role:
We are looking to appoint a lecturer in Engineering to teach on the Level 2 & L3 BTEC Engineering study programmes for 16–18-year-olds, as well as Access to HE Engineering courses for adults.
The role will be based in the Engineering Department in the Centre for Applied Sciences on our Angel campus.
Units on the BTEC RQF Engineering Level 2 and 3 may include Electrical Circuits, Microcontroller systems and Python programming.
You will hold an Honours Degree in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science or a relevant subject, have relevant experience in teaching these to 16–18-year-olds up to level 3. You will also hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be used to maintaining professional and quality standards and keeping high quality documentation.
