The Manchester College is based at many sites across the city, each with its own specialist cutting edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. We are the largest FE college in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.

We have a great opportunity to join our Student Experience & Support Team as Head of Department on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.

This is an exciting and varied role, leading the Student Experience & Support Team at one of our campuses, which will be key in supporting our estates and curriculum strategy into 2025 and beyond and our ambition to be an outstanding provider, leading on technical and industry focused curriculum.

We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience of safeguarding, enrichment and the student journey. A background in either EDI or Mental Health would be beneficial.

In order to do this, you will need:

Degree Level Qualification or relevant industrial experience or professional qualification

Recognised teaching qualification

Numeracy and literacy skills (to level 2 or equivalent)
