Trainer/Mentor in Payroll

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainer/Mentor in Payroll

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent 

Salary: £31,173 – £35,645 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

YES?

 

  • You will need to be qualified in finance/payroll
  • No teaching qualification is required but you must be willing to work towards and gain relevant teaching qualifications which will be sponsored and supported by the college.
  • Experience in teaching preferably in Payroll/Finance would be an advantage but not essential. 
  • Experience in assessing for apprenticeships an advantage, but not essential.
  • Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality

 

This position is a joint teaching/workplace mentor role, working with both students and apprentices. Your time will be divided between teaching students and apprentices in Payroll at level 3, and supporting individuals completing an apprenticeship in both Payroll and AAT.

 

This post will require travel within the local area to visit apprentices in the workplace, and on occasions across the country to other College sites and employer’s offices.
