Lecturer in Criminology/Law

Due to significant growth in the curriculum area, we are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in AS/A-Level Criminology/Law, with a demonstrable record of outstanding student achievement and a commitment to driving forward the provision of Criminology/Law to ensure student success.

As an ambitious Lecturer, you will work closely within the A-Levels Division to ensure that students are actively engaged in all aspects of the delivery of AS/A-Level Criminology/Law and you will also work within the Division and liaise with cross-College areas to enhance the student experience and provide the widest range of opportunities to our students.

As a Lecturer you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.

With a degree level qualification in Law and/or Criminology or a related subject/discipline, and a PGCE or Certificate in Education or willing to work towards, you will possess detailed knowledge of current HE and AS/A-Level Law and/or Criminology specifications and of current issues in Higher and Further Education relating to the curriculum area. You will also have the ability to display excellent teaching skills in the delivery of HE and AS/A-Level Law and/or Criminology.

The salary for this post is £28,728 - £34,474.
