The Curriculum area of Wood Occupations is looking for a Band 2 Lecturer to teach Wood Occupations and associated subjects, and to help embed English and Maths as appropriate. This role involves course leadership and curriculum development duties within the department. You will conduct teaching/learning activities appropriate to the needs of individual students, whilst keeping attendance records and maintaining student discipline.
The successful candidate will hold a level 3 qualification in Wood Occupations (or equivalent) and be willing to obtain a recognised teaching/training qualification if not already held. You will also have industrial experience within a wood related trade and display excellent written and oral communication skills. Previous teaching experience and possession of an Assessor/Internal Vertification Award is desirable.
