We have an exciting opportunity to join the UCEN Manchester team as a Director of Curriculum (Film and Creative Arts) on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.
The UCEN Manchester offer accounts for around £15m income, serving Access to HE, Higher Education and higher-level professional qualifications. As such, we are the largest college provider of Access and Higher Education across Greater Manchester. The curriculum structure is accompanied by an ambitious estates strategy, including a new City Centre campus from 2022.
As a key member of the UCEN Management Team, the postholder will report to the Associate Dean. The role is within the newly established UCEN Manchester Faculty of Creative Arts and Design Industries, and includes direct responsibility for The Manchester Film School, Special Effects and Media Make-up, Visual Arts, Graphics and Media.
In order to do this, you will need:
Degree Level Qualification in a departmental relevant subject
Recognised Teaching Qualification
Minimum Level 2 maths and English
Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
