Forest School Teacher - SEN - Part-time

Are you looking for a unique opportunity where you will deliver Forest School in an SEN setting on a part-time basis?On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking to recruit a teacher with Forest School experience who is passionate about supporting SEN learners. This is a unique opportunity in an SEN class in a lovely school in Marple, Stockport. This part-time position is one day a week (Mondays) and will commence September 2021.About the RoleThis role is ideal for an individual who has Forest School experience and is passionate about supporting learning in the outdoors. The class has 14 children with a range of needs, however experience with autism and MLD will be hugely beneficial. You will also be joined by multiple TA's who work with some of the children on a 1:1 basis.The school has a fantastic Forest School facility in which pupils thrive and learn about their natural surroundings building skills and resilience to work both independently and as part of a team. Activities include outdoor team games, environmental art, wildlife watch, shelter and den building and exploration.
