An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified, enthusiastic, innovative and competent lecturer to join the Directorate of Professional, Creative and Service Industries delivering qualifications across a range of levels in our high performing Foundation Studies curriculum area.
You would be expected to work well in classroom based teaching, learning and assessment as well as online teaching; offering subject tutor and potentially personal tutoring support to our SEND groups. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, which work closely with Learning Support Assistants to ensure our learners feel supported and achieve to their full potential.
The role will include teaching across a range of levels from E1 to L1. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining high levels of student attendance, retention and achievement.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of learners with SEND and EHCPs as well as teaching experience, plus a teaching qualification, and a qualification in English and mathematics at minimum Level 2.
Good administration, interpersonal and IT skills are essential. Candidates with a knowledge of Support Internships would be desirable.
