SEN Teaching Assistants - Cardiff Secondary School

The Additional Learning Needs Coordinator (ALNCO) of a high achieving Secondary School in Cardiff has given Empowering Learning the responsibility of sourcing a highly experienced Teaching Assistant to work within their Behavioural Unit for the duration of the new academic year. The successful candidate will then be offered a permanent contract with the school.The role will involve supporting individual pupils within their mainstream classes and small groups within the unit. Due to the nature of the setting, the needs of the pupils are predominately behavioural with elements of other Additional Learning Needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and Dyslexia.
