Study Programme Manager - Skills Pathway

Study Programme Manager for Foundation Learning Skills Pathway – Bicton College – Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 – Hours per week: 37 – Weeks per year: 52 – Closing Date: 30 July

Based at Bicton College, we are looking for an experienced individual to manage all aspects of the Study Programme and to provide a positive experience for all enrolled learners, enabling them to achieve their maximum potential. In collaboration with the CAM/HoC, be accountable for all aspects of the learner journey from initial marketing, promotion, initial advice and guidance, sole responsibility for successful learner progression and careers advice, achievement, recording destinations, programme design and consistently high levels of teaching, learning and assessment.

Applicants must have, or be working towards, a nationally approved Stage 3 teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent), hold a minimum of a level 2 qualification in English and/or maths, and have experience working with learners with SEND, range of behaviour needs and delivering to those with challenging behaviours. Applicants must also have experience of delivering to SEND learners, delivering a land based curriculum (animal care, Horticulture), a proven track record of teaching Functional Skills English and / or maths, as well as subjects delivered within the Foundation Learning Entry level curriculum.
