We are looking for an experienced Music Performance Lecturer to lead the Level 3 Diploma in Music Performance.
Based within the exciting and vibrant creative industries department, this highly practical course provides students with the skills to transform their passion into a career. The course allows students to focus on performance, song writing and production and to explore ways of releasing their music as a recording artist. You will be part of an experienced team of tutors responsible for delivering this exciting programme.
You will also be responsible for managing all aspects of the student journey, including student recruitment, tutorial and pastoral support, course induction, curriculum planning, teaching, learning and assessment, feedback to students, monitoring of student progress, management of student records, student achievement, and all associated course and quality related administration.
You will require an academic qualification at Level 5 / Level 6, or professional qualification equivalent in a relevant subject area and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one). You also require experience working within a college environment and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of all students within a possibly diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.
