We are looking to hire people to join our Carpentry team in Guildford. We are looking for an experienced Carpentry Teacher, ideally with experience in an Assessor role as well.
We are looking for people who can bring a positivity and enthusiasm to their lectures so that our students enjoy their experience while learning, therefore a genuine interest in working with and developing young professionals is required.
Our students are eager to learn and we want to appoint someone who can provide them with a high level of knowledge that they can utilise in their careers.

Our Technology Faculty has an excellent record of delivering vocational Carpentry courses with employability embedded at their heart. This is achieved through excellent relationships with industry and the employment of experts with extensive professional experience within the teaching team. We deliver well-established and highly successful professionally accredited courses in Carpentry.
There is an immediate requirement to fill this position and therefore interviews will take place immediately and ongoing as suitable applications are received.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
Ideally, you'll have worked in the trades as a carpenter, you will have a passion for building skills of the future generation. You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
Candidates with experience in further education, distance learning and higher apprenticeships are also encouraged. We also welcome applications from those seeking a full or part position.
