Head of Quality Enhancement

New College Durham is a great place to work.

It is a high performing and financially outstanding College and is continually investing in new facilities and resources for learning.

The College is one of the leading further education colleges in the North East and continues to be at the forefront of new initiatives, being the only College in the North East to offer all the new T Levels in Early Years, Digital and Construction and will be increasing the T Level offer next year to include Health. The College is also the lead institution for the North East Institute of Technology (NEIoT). It has foundation degree awarding powers and has extensive delivery of European Social Funding (ESF) programmes.

We focus on providing training and education that creates the best outcomes for students and gives them the skills and behaviors they need for long term success in a global economy.

Due to the current postholder gaining external promotion we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and innovative individual to lead the College Quality Enhancement Team. You will contribute to the operational management of the institution wide approach to quality enhancement and lead the implementation and function of quality assurance. The College is well resourced and has made significant investment in quality enhancement. You will implement the College’s Quality Enhancement strategies, working with curriculum colleagues to support them in ensuring there is a whole college approach to quality and to maintain the high-performance culture of continuous improvement.

With extensive experience in quality assurance and monitoring performance, you will use this expertise to enhance the quality of the College’s further education provision to ensure that we continue to perform to the highest standards.
