Cover Supervisors - Secondary School Support

GSL Education are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic Secondary School in Newcastle to provide Cover Supervisors who are capable and keen to help cover lessons in a teacher's absence on a full-time or part time basis. Your role will be working across school and subjects to ensure that learners stay on task, complete set work tasks, and adhere to the school's behaviour policies. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30 typically, changes could be made depending on the needs of learners. Having access to your own car would be preferred but not essential. You will be required to have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service to be able to work with our clients (This will be discussed during the registration process)The Ideal candidate must:Have experience working with school aged or adult learners with additional needsBe able to commit to 5 days a week work or working hours outlined at interviewHave a Child or Child and Adult DBS on the update service.Are confident, outgoing, and personable individual with a passion for helping people.Have experience leading sessions with school age learners, either academically or socially with extra-curricular activities (Sport) GSL Education is an ethical, independent recruitment agency serving teachers across Tyne and Wear.
