To plan, prepare and teach courses online (using Zoom and Canvas, the WEA`s virtual learning environment) and face to face for adults within the WEA programme of work, as agreed with the appropriate Education Coordinator.
To carry out the administrative tasks required in each programme area. To provide appropriate student feedback and support and educational advice and information where necessary, and to create an appropriate and welcoming atmosphere for students.
Digital tutor, Staffordshire Stoke based for face-to-face and online teaching. We are seeking a competent IT trainer to work with groups of adults with entry level IT skills to progress them to a Level 1 standard, this will follow the NCFE Essential Digital Skills curriculum. Experience of successfully completed leaner assessments for accreditation is desirable. We are looking for someone to deliver this in a creative and engaging manner that ensures high retention among a wide variety of communities. It is essential that you are available for face-to-face work in Stoke and Staffordshire
The successful candidate must be IT literate and will have some experience of teaching online. Training will be given in teaching using Zoom and Canvas which are the platforms used by the WEA.
