The Workers` Educational Association is a unique charity and the UK`s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education. In short, you will be a catalyst for profound change, and you`ll enjoy considerable autonomy as you prepare course materials, identify students` needs, adapt courses and continually assess the effectiveness of your approach.
We are currently recruiting for the role of Sessional Tutor to deliver - An Introduction to Community Interpreting, progressing on to Level 1 and then a L2 accredited course, in the Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland area.
We are looking for tutors who specialise in this curriculum area and hold a formal teaching qualification.
You will be a qualified and capable teacher, you will be keen to engage with disadvantaged people and rekindle their love of learning, and you will share our passion for egalitarianism and empowerment.
WEA delivers from a variety of blended learning in community venues in and online. We assume that you will be excited by using digital technology both in the classroom with the student and to manage course administration. The ideal candidate will be IT literate and able to deliver through a blended learning
