OCCASIONAL TEACHER

Location: HMP Bullingdon, Bicester, OX25 1PZ
Hours: Ad-hoc / Variable
Salary: £24.00 per hour
Reporting To: Education Manager

Milton Keynes College Prison Services Team at HMP Bullingdon are seeking innovative Teachers/Tutors to deliver to a diverse group of learners, helping to build their confidence, develop their skills and achieve within a college environment. The College are looking for candidates interested in variable hours, on an ad-hoc basis, who are keen to explore Prison Education.

HMP Bullingdon are currently looking for individuals with one or more of the below skillsets to support their curriculum delivery.

  • Functional Skills English - Entry to Level 2
  • Functional Skills Maths - Entry to Level 2
  • Vocational Cover Tutors
      • Barbering / Painting & Decorating / Mentoring / Horticulture / ICT / Business, Hospitality and Barista.

A teaching qualification would be desirable, however those willing to work towards a teaching qualification who hold supporting subject specialism or industry experience would also be considered - we can provide the training to help you achieve your full potential.
