Part Time: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Salary: £17,492 to £18,535 per annum (£14,347 to £15,220 pro rata)

An opportunity has arisen Learning Mentor to join our team at Central Bedfordshire College.
The role of Learning Mentor will involve working with learners who are at risk due to welfare issues, undertaking early interventions to provide support and remove barriers in order to improve their learning opportunities.
A vital part of this role will involve working across the college collecting and recording attendance and punctuality data, following up with learners to monitor improvements. The successful candidate will make a significant contribution to driving up college success rates by dramatically improving the attendance and punctuality of learners.
The ideal candidate strong written and verbal communication skills, together with the ability to prioritise work and be a good team player. You should have good IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
