IT Helpdesk Support Assistant

(37 hours per week/52 weeks per year)

Chesterfield College is seeking a customer-focussed IT Helpdesk Support Assistant to act as the initial point of contact for our Helpdesk service, within the Chesterfield College Group's central ICT Services team.

You will be professional & customer-focussed and enjoy helping people.  You will combine this with good organisation and record keeping skills, so that customer issues and requests are accurately captured in our Helpdesk system.  In this varied role you will also be the first point of contact for the reprographics service, supporting the reprographic needs of all staff across the Group, and will provide clerical support to the department, e.g. purchasing, stock control, asset management & general clerical support.

Your efficient & methodical approach, coupled with your strong interpersonal skills, will inspire confidence in our customers - with requests being dealt with promptly and efficiently and customers kept updated on progress and outcomes.

The role offers the opportunity for development and progression; taking on additional responsibilities over time to become a key player in our ICT Services team.
